Accompanying the weekend, a series of series and films on Netflix can be entertainment for you and your family. One of them, the latest Korean series Parasyte: The Gray which airs today, April 5 2024.
Based on the legendary manga “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki which has sold more than 25 million copies, this science fiction thriller series tells the story of when parasites rule Korea. There are new settings, characters and storylines that combine with the imaginative world and deep messages of the original manga.
About Drama : Parasyte: The Grey (2024)
Drakor Parasyte: The Gray is recognized as having a new setting, characters and storyline while still maintaining the imaginative world and deep message of the Parasyte manga.
The main character named Su-in, played by Jeon So-nee, tries to live a life that now means she has to live side by side with the existence of a parasite.
The series also follows the efforts of Team Grey, a group that attempts to combat various mysterious parasites that live on human bodies.
Other cast members in this series include Koo Kyo-hwan (D.P., Kingdom: Ashin of the North, Kill Boksoon, Escape from Mogadishu) as Kang-woo, a man who is determined to fight various parasites in his search for his missing sister.
Lee Jung-hyun (Limit, Decision to Leave, Night of the Undead) plays Jun-kyung, leader of Team Grey’s anti-parasitic task force. Kwon Hae-hyo (D.P., Forecasting Love and Weather, Peninsula) plays Chul-min, a senior detective who tries to protect Su-in.
Meanwhile, Kim In-kwon (The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey, The Battle of Jangsari) plays Won-seok, Chul-min’s junior colleague.
Parasyte: The Gray is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, known for, among others, Train to Busan, JUNG_E, and Hellbound which received a lot of praise. Make sure you don’t miss this series.
